Rocket 5-3 for Saint Johns first win of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League season. The Sea Dogs were the best junior hockey team in Canada last season, winning the QMJHLs Presidents Cup and then going on to win the Memorial Cup. Saint Johns 119 points in the 2010-11 season are the second most in QMJHL history. The team lost only seven games in regulation, two in overtime and one in the shootout. However, the Sea Dogs lost their first three games of this season before Sundays victory, putting them in second-last overall. Elsewhere in the QMJHL it was: Cape Breton 5, Acadie-Bathurst 3; Quebec 4, Blainville-Boisbriand 2; and Shawinigan 5, Gatineau 2.
