Many drugs have an effective and long - lasting version of theirs which is taken by an intramuscular or subcutaneous method and is known as Depot injections.
The most commonly used method of injection is intramuscular injection, that is injecting the fluid into the muscle. Almost all the general medicines are injected in this fashion only. Injections to the buttock area is known to reach the blood stream in a very quick manner due to an enormous number of muscle and blood tissues present in that area. If the medicine is not absorbed quickly, then it results in pain and discomfort. With the advancement of science, there are a large number of self - administered injections available in the market, generally for the regular users. Generally the peptides which are used by body builders or sport enthusiasts are administered through subcutaneous injections. Due to their regular use, they are good at helping themselves to inject the drug.
The main concern behind the use of injections is the safety issues related to it. There is no harm in using an injection but using a used injection is harmful and leads to all sorts of dangerous allergies and diseases. Injections should be properly sterilised before using to be away from any such hazards. Proper collection and disposal be taken care of and resale of used pieces should be considered crime.
