The NHLs Mar. Matt Harvey Authentic Jersey . 5 Trade Deadline is drawing closer and teams will be deciding on whether to buy or sell. Check out todays trade-related reports and speculation from around the NHL beat. And follow TSN.ca through Deadline Day for all the updates. Keep it Kul? With the Toronto Maple Leafs having cleared a bit of cap room by dealing MarkFraser to the Oilers on Friday, reports are now shifting towards their willingness to move a bigger roster piece. TSN Hockey Insider Darren Dreger reported on Insider Trading Friday night that the Leafs have informed teams that theyre willing to move NikolaiKulemin. Dreger notes, however, that this isnt simply getting rid of salary to make some room for the return of DaveBolland. The Leafs would need a substantial return, including a player and not just a draft pick. No offers have been tabled yet that make sense for the Leafs, according to Dreger. A Leg Up Kevin Allen of USA Today posted a list of the 10 most intriguing potential trade targets to watch before the deadline and while the list was populated with the usual collection of potentially-available names MattMoulson, DanGirardi, AlesHemsky and so on he did bring up another interesting possibility. Tucked away as an honourable mention, Allen suggests that DavidLegwand would be a fit for the Pittsburgh Penguins. Legwand does have a no-trade clause, as Allen notes, but could he be persuaded to leave Nashville for the first time since he is in the last year of his contract? The 33-year-old has never seen a Conference Final and with PascalDupuis out for the year with a torn ACL, the Pens may have both the cash and the need for a player like Legwand. Captain for Hire? Friday was a busy day in the rumor mill for New York Rangers captain RyanCallahan, with talk of a potential swap with St. Louis front and centre. With reports that at least one team has been given permission to speak with Callahans agent, the possibility of the 28-year-old getting dealt before Mar. 5 seems to be increasing. The key motivator behind the rumours appears to be Callahans expectations for his next contract. Dreger commented that unless his contract demands soften, theres a 100 per cent chance that hes getting traded by the New York Rangers. Theyre not paying him what hes asking. Mookie Wilson Mets Jersey .Y. -- Ralph Wilson fulfilled his vow in keeping the Bills in Buffalo during his lifetime. Tug McGraw Authentic Jersey . Now he can be had by any team willing to pay his salary. According to a report from ESPN, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are shopping the veteran CB and plan on releasing him Wednesday if they cant find a trade partner.SILVERSTONE, England -- Lewis Hamilton has topped the times ahead of Mercedes teammate and Formula One leader Nico Rosberg in the second practice at the British Grand Prix. Hamilton, world champion in 2008, clocked a best lap in 1 minute, 34.508 secconds, to outpace Rosberg by 0.Zack Wheeler Authentic Jersey. 28 seconds on Friday. But Hamilton then stopped on the track after an hour of the 90-minute session with an engine problem. Two-time champion Fernando Alonso was third quickest for Ferrari. cheap jerseys ' ' '

KAMLOOPS, B. Rod Woodson Womens Jersey .C. -- Two veteran skips were both left scratching their heads at the Canadian mens curling championships Saturday night, as a change in ice conditions saw crucial draw attempts in an extra end fall at least five metres short of the house. Newfoundland and Labradors Brad Gushue, who lost the game 6-5 to Manitobas Jeff Stoughton, was more than a little peeved as the opening day of the Tim Hortons Brier ended. Gushue expressed his clear frustrations with the ice conditions. "They lost the ice," said Gushue, the 2006 Olympic gold medallist who, like Stoughton, is curling in his 11th Brier. "You see two world class skips throw draws to the four foot that end up 20-feet light. Its embarrassing. I think the ice is just (terrible). Its unfortunate that it came down to that." He said he saw it happen to a lesser degree in an earlier game between Albertas Kevin Koe and B.C.s John Morris. Stoughton was just as mystified. "We were going to draw probably half in the top four and I let it go, the guys said good weight and it just ground in," he said. Although, for him, the result was a little more satisfying as he left his shot stone in the house to win the game. "I guess that side of the sheet got lost somehow but well take it. We had one in there and he missed both his last two shots, what are you going to do?" Stoughton and Morris sit at the top of the standings with two wins apiece after Saturdays draw, followed by Brier rookie Greg Balsdon from Ontario and Steve Laycock from Saskatchewan with one win each. Gushue joined Northern Ontarios Jeff Currie at 1-1 while five rinks were winless after one game, Alberta, New Brunswick, The Northwest Territories-Yukon, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Quebec. In the evening draw, Morris beat Currie 8-2 in eight ends, after struggling earlier to edge Albertas Koe 7-6. Currie split the day, beating New Brunswicks Jamie Grattan 13-5 in the opener. Balsdon opened his first Brier by topping Quebec veteran Jean-Michel Menard 9-7 and Saskatchewans Laycock beat the Northwest Territories-Yukons Jamie Koe (Kevins brother) 8-5. Morris, curling for his third province at the Brier, was glad to get off to a good start. "The first one was a little tough on the melon, that one was a little nicer," he said, referring to the difference in the two games. "We played a little better this team, a good solid team effort." He also said he found the ice on the sheet he played on a little more consistent at night. Laycock said his first win wasnt without its scary moments. "Especially in nine there, there was a chance we could have blown a three-point lead in a hurry," he said. "It was nice to sneak out of that with only giving up two." He scored two in the final end to seal it. So did Balsdon, playing in his first Brier after managing to beat Ontario veteran Glen Howard to win the right. "We all felt pretty comfortable. The speed was good, the ice was very consistent, what youd expect from the Brier," he said. He says it helps in a way being a rookie. "Because Im a rookie here I dont really feel a whole lot of pressure for myself and the team. . . Were just hoping to scrap out some games." Jack Lambert Jersey . With four remaining Olympic berths up for grabs, Canadas Peng Peng Lee, Kristina Vaculik, Victoria Moors, Talia Chiarelli, Brittany Rogers and Madeline Gardiner finished second overall with a combined 221. Dermontti Dawson Womens Jersey . Froch retained his WBA and IBF titles with a ninth-round stoppage against Groves in Manchester on Nov. 23. Groves launched an appeal, saying referee Howard Foster stopped the fight prematurely, and the IBF then ordered a rematch.BRISBANE, Australia -- After pulling out of the Brisbane International with injuries in recent seasons, Maria Sharapova is aiming to use the season-opening tournament this time as a springboard for her comeback and to see how her new support crew works in competition. Sharapova has only played one match since an early exit at Wimbledon due to a right shoulder injury and has spent months working with her new coach Sven Groeneveld. She arrived in Australia to prepare for the first major of the season with her boyfriend and fellow professional Grigor Dimitrov, who returns after losing the final here to Andy Murray last season. Serena Williams won the last Brisbane title and is back to defend it, hoping she hasnt lost any of the momentum from a stunning 2013 season when she won 11 titles including the French and U.S. Opens, had 78 wins from 82 matches -- including a 34-match winning streak -- and collected more than $12 million in prize money. Her brief off-season was not exactly business as usual -- although it was commercial. She trained in Florida with her father, Richard, so she could be close to home for the relaunch of one of her companies and to hire a CEO for it. "I was interviewing so many people. Corporate Serena was taking over," she told a news conference Sunday. "Im happy to be here right now." Corporate Serena conducted at least 10 interviews, and still has at least one more to do. She expects it to be a tough interview, like they all are. "I definitely am not easy ... Im a tough interviewer. For me, its all about business and removing a lot of emotion," she said. "I just want to get to the point." And that brings her back to tennis, where she can turn the corporate email account off for a while and concentrate on what she does best. "I took a couple weeks off, but I was already itching to get back on the court," she said. "I didnt want to lose any rhythm or anything. Didnt want to lose momentum." No. 3-seeded Sharapova is in Williams half of the draw, meaning they could meet in the semifinals. The Brisbane tournament will be Sharapovas only warmup for the Australian Open, which starts Jan. 13, so she needs to find her rhythm quickly. Franco Harris Jersey. She said shed been practicing hard, but also concentrating on relaxing when shes off the court. Traveling with Dimitrov has helped, she said, despite or because of their major common interest. "Of course we share a lot of the same things just because we have an elephant in the room thats called tennis," Sharapova said Sunday. "But there are so many other things to life that are besides tennis, and there are a lot more things to discuss than forehands and backhands and strings and rackets, which we share similar ideas and things of." Sharapova split with coach Thomas Hogstedt after her Wimbledon loss, and said she wasnt in the right frame of mind to work with Jimmy Connors long term -- that partnership lasted one match. "You have to realize that the decisions you make, you have to make them selfishly in this business to be better, to know whats right for you," she said. "From the first time we met I really liked what (Groeneveld) had to say. Hes a team player. He works with everyone on my team, something I was missing for a little bit of time." In first-round results at Brisbane: Wimbledon finalist Sabine Lisicki had a 6-3, 6-4 win over Magdalena Rybarikova of Slovakia; Andrea Petkovic of Germany beat American Bethanie Mattek-Sands 6-4, 7-5; Japanese veteran Kimiko Date-Krumm won 6-3, 7-5 over Australias Olivia Rogowska; and Swiss player Stefanie Vogele beat American Madison Keys 6-4, 6-3. Former No. 1-ranked Caroline Wozniacki withdrew after hurting her right shoulder in practice but said she expected to be fit the Sydney International next week. While Serena Williams gets a first-round bye in Brisbane, her older sister Venus Williams will be in action from the first round at the WTA event in Auckland on Monday when she plays 134-ranked Andrea Hlavackova of the Czech Republic. In Hopman Cup Group B action at Perth, Petra Kvitova and Radek Stepanek combined to give the Czech Republic a 3-0 win over Spain. Kvitova only lost one game en route to a comprehensive singles win over Anabel Medina Garrigues before Stepanek beat Daniel Munoz-De La Nava 6-2, 6-2. The Czech pair won the mixed doubles 6-3, 6-4. cheap jerseys ' ' '

SAN DIEGO -- Utah State allowed two 100-yard rushers all season long. Pat ODonnell Jersey . Jordan Lynch, the all-purpose Heisman Trophy finalist from Northern Illinois, failed to make it into that exclusive club. The Aggies swarming defence made Lynch look average during a 21-14 victory over No. 24 Northern Illinois in the Poinsettia Bowl on Thursday night. Safety Brian Suite intercepted a pass and recovered a fumble by Lynch, who was bottled up for only 39 yards rushing. That kept him from becoming the first major college player to rush for 2,000 yards and pass for 2,000 yards in the same season. Utah State stymied a Huskies offence that had averaged nearly 42 points a game. "The only thing we do every week is not stop the run game, but eliminate the run game," USU coach Matt Wells said. "But obviously he is a big part of the run game, so we were able to eliminate him, make him one-dimensional and then we were able to actually find a way to run the football, which makes them one-dimensional, and the ballgame is ours." Joey DeMartino, who went to high school and junior college in San Diego, carried 23 times for 143 yards and a touchdown for Utah State (9-5). He was the offensive MVP. "The feelings unreal," DeMartino said. "I couldnt ask for a better senior game to go out on and to be in front of my hometown, my family, my friends and everyone who supported me out here." DeMartino said the Aggies wanted to bounce back from a loss to Fresno State in the Mountain West Conference championship game. "We took a hard loss there," DeMartino said. "Thats not how we play. We just wanted to come back and prove to the nation that we can compete every game and we did just that." Lynch was third in the Heisman Trophy voting and made The Associated Press All-America team as an all-purpose player. He extended his major college record for yards rushing for a quarterback in a season to 1,920. He completed 20 of 35 passes for 216 yards and was sacked twice. Lynch ran for a touchdown and passed for another for NIU (12-2), which ended the season with two straight losses. The Huskies were coming off a 20-point loss to Bowling Green in the Mid-American Conference title game that cost them a BCS bid. "We gave it the 24-hour rule," Lynch said. "The carpet got pulled out from under us losing to Bowling Green and thinking about going to a BCS game. But we got a chance to play a great opponent in Utah State. I thought we had a great three weeks of practice. We came out with a lot of energy and had fun. All the credit goes to Utah State. Lynchs pass was intercepted on the first play of the third quarter by Suite, setting up a go-ahead, 5-yard touchdown pass from Darrel Garretson to Brandon Swindall. The Aggies put it away when DeMartino scored on a 1-yard run with 4:14 to go for a 21-7 lead. It capped a 16-play, 80-yard drive that consumed 7:19. "We had to find a way to keep wearing them down and Im going to tell you what -- we imposed our will on them at the end of the game," Wells said. "On that one drive to make it 21-7, that was more of an issue that they had been out there all night because the offence couldnt do a thing," NIU coach Rod Carey said. NIU punted four times, had two turnovers, two missed field goals and relinquished possession on downs one time. "We werent able to move it like we normally do," Carey said. Lynch threw a 5-yard scoring pass to Juwan Brescacin with 1:44 left to pull NIU to 21-14. NIU tried an onside kicked that USU recovered. There were four turnovers and three missed field goals. The game drew only 23,408 to 70,000-seat Qualcomm Stadium, the lowest attendance in the bowls nine-year history. Suite also recovered Lynchs fumble in the first quarter. NIUs first five series in the second half ended with an interception, three punts and a missed field goal. "We had our chances," Lynch said. "We had our chances to make some plays and score some points. We were in the red zone three times or so and we didnt come away with points. We just didnt capitalize on it." The teams staggered through an unimpressive first half that included a missed field goal by each team, a shanked punt by NIU and a lost fumble by Lynch. Lynch scored on a 1-yard run with 8:17 left in the second quarter to cap a 15-play, 78-yard drive and give NIU a 7-6 lead. Lynch ended NIUs second possession by losing a fumble at midfield. Utah State responded with a 31-yard field goal by Nick Diaz. NIUs Mathew Sims was wide right on a 37-yard field goal attempt and DeMartino had a 58-yard run to set up Diazs 39-yard field goal. Gale Sayers Jersey . 31 as the deadline to submit an Olympic hockey roster, the deadline has changed. After appeals from some top European countries - namely Russia, Sweden, Finland and Czech - over the past 24 hours, the National Hockey League, NHL Players Association and the IIHF agreed to move the date to Jan. Jared Allen Jersey . Gooden is expected to sign the deal and join the team in time for Thursdays game against the Toronto Raptors. The first Game 7 of the second round is on tap for tonight, as the New York Rangers visit the Pittsburgh Penguins at CONSOL Energy Center for the decisive battle of the Eastern Conference semifinals. Pittsburgh once held a 3-1 lead in the series, but the Rangers staved off elimination in Games 5 and 6 to set up a final clash for the right to play in the conference finals. The Penguins are aiming for a second straight berth in the East finals, while New York is hoping to return to the third round for the second time in three postseasons. Pittsburgh is 7-6 all-time in Game 7s and the Rangers are 7-5. The Penguins are just 2-6 when hosting a seventh game, while New York is just 1-5 as the road team in this situation. At the center of New Yorks series comeback has been Rangers forward MartinSt.Louis, who lost his mother to a heart attack on Thursday but managed to play in Fridays 5-1 victory in Pittsburgh. St. Louis then played a big role in Sundays Game 6 triumph, scoring the first goal of the contest to help his team earn an essential win on Mothers Day. St. Louis and CarlHagelin scored within a three-minute span early in Sundays contest, while HenrikLundqvist made 36 saves to anchor the 3-1 victory. DerickBrassard recorded the other tally for the Rangers. "We wanted a chance and we have given ourselves that chance," said Rangers head coach Alain Vigneault. "It is what it is. Its going to be a lot of fun." Lundqvist is 9-2 in 11 elimination games with a 1.35 goals against average and .955 save percentage. He hopes to further improve that win/loss record on Tuesday to get his team back to the East finals after the Rangers lost to New Jersey in the third round of the 2012 postseason. The Swedish backstop is 2-2 lifetime in road elimination games and is 4-1 with a 1.00 GAA in Game 7s. New Yorks star goaltender did receive a $5,000 fine from the league after Game 6. Lundqvist was fined for unsportsmanlike conduct after spraying Pittsburghs SidneyCrosby with his water bottle during a scrum at the end of the second period and was BrandonSutter provided the lone offense for the Penguins on Sunday. Pittsburgh netminder Marc-AndreFleury struggled at times, taking the loss after stopping 26 shots. St. Louis scored just 3:34 into Game 6 to stake New York to a 1-0 lead. Rangers defenseman AntonStralman wristed a shot from the high slot that was stopped by Fleury. The puuck then hit off the skate of Pittsburgh defenseman MattNiskanen in front of the crease and trickled to DerekStepan, who caromed a backhand shot off of St. Brandon Marshall Elite Jersey. Louis and into the net for a lead. "It was Mothers Day. My dads here, my sisters here, its been a tough time for my whole family ... it was a good moment," said an emotional St. Louis, still battling through the sudden death of his mother on Friday. New York road the wave of emotion from that point on with Hagelin scoring the eventual game-winner less than three minutes later. "When he scored, on the bench you could see everyone jumping around," said teammate DerickBrassard of the St. Louis goal. "After that we really took off." After getting blown out in Game 5 and falling behind early on Sunday, the Pens know they need to get off to a better start in Game 7. "Its pretty clear, we didnt show up," Crosby said. The last two games our starts have hurt us, again tonight. We knew it was something we had to improve and we didnt. We paid the price for it. Hopefully, next game we learn those lessons." Although Crosby has just one goal in this postseason, Pittsburghs captain has added eight assists over his teams 12 games. Crosby has two goals and one assist in three lifetime Game 7 appearances. Fellow superstar forward EvgeniMalkin, who lead Pittsburgh with 13 points on six goals and seven assists this spring, had no goals and three assists over three career Game 7s. Tuesdays clash marks the first-ever Game 7 between the Penguins and Rangers. In fact, prior to Sunday, the teams only played one previous Game 6 -- the Patrick Division finals, a 5-1 Pittsburgh victory at Mellon Arena to close out that series on May 13, 1992 Pittsburgh is 4-0 all-time in postseason series against the Rangers, who finished second in the Metropolitan Division this season -- 13 points behind the division champion Penguins. New York also has never come back from down 3-1 to win a series. In 16 previous playoff series the Rangers trailed three games to one, the franchise never rallied to win, and only reached a Game 7 once until this season, in 1939 against the Bruins before losing that contest in triple overtime . The winner of tonights game in the Steel City will face either Boston or Montreal in the East finals. The Bruins and Habs also are tied at three games apiece and Boston will host Game 7 on Wednesday. cheap jerseys ' ' '

Syracuse is again a unanimous choice as the top-ranked mens college basketball team in the latest Associated Press poll. wholesale jerseys . The Orange beat Notre Dame and Clemson last week to remain one of only two undefeated teams in Division I mens basketball. Wichita State is the other. Syracuse received all 65 first-place votes and 1,625 points from a nationwide media panel to keep the top spot for a second straight week after supplanting Arizona. The Wildcats kept the second slot, while Florida, Wichita State, San Diego State and Villanova also remained unchanged from last week. Kansas moved up a spot to seventh, followed by Duke, Michigan State and Cincinnati. Duke rose three spots from 11th, while Cincinnati dipped three places from seventh after having its 15-game winning streak stopped with Saturdays loss at SMU. The second 10 consists of Iowa State, Saint Louis, Louisville, Kentucky, Michigan, Iowa, Virginia, Creighton, Texas and Memphis. Iowa State vaulted five spots from 16th after a pair of wins last week, while Michigan dropped five places from 10th after an 18-point loss at Iowa. Creighton also tumbled six spots after falling at St. Johns on Sunday. Wisconsin, Ohio State, SMU, Connecticut and Pittsburgh are the last five teams ranked. Wisconsin and Ohio State rejoined the poll after a one-week absence, while Larry Browns SMU Mustangs are ranked for the first time since late in the 1984-85 season. Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Gonzaga each dropped out after losses last week. Oklahoma State had been ranked all season and was as high as fifth in late November, but has lost four in a row and is now dealing with a three-game suspension to leading scorer Marcus Smart after his altercation with a fan on Saturday night at Texas Tech. This weeks ranked matchups include Tuesdays Big Ten tussle between Michigan and Ohio State in Columbus, while Syracuse will put its unblemished mark on the line Wednesday at Pittsburgh. On Saturday, Memphis visits Connecticut and Kentucky hosts Florida, while Sundays action has Villanova traveling to Creighton and another tough one for Michigan at home against Wisconsin. cheap jerseys from china . Poyets immediate challenge is to produce Sunderlands first victory in the league, with the northeast club bottom with just one point from seven matches. "Trust me, believe, connect with the team," Poyet said after signing a two-year contract. cheap jerseys . The All-Star point guard, sidelined for the past six months with a knee injury, was set to return to the Oklahoma City Thunder lineup for Sunday nights home game against the Phoenix Suns, weeks earlier than expected.PHILADELPHIA -- JohnWall had his long-distance game working on Wednesday night. Wall scored 24 points on a career-best five 3-pointers, MarcinGortat had 19 points and 12 rebounds, and the Washington Wizards beat the Philadelphia 76ers 116-102. BradleyBeal had 17 points, TrevorAriza scored 15 as seven Wizards reached double digits to help Washington earn its first win after starting 0-3. Walls shooting was the big surprise. The former No. 1 overall pick has a career shooting rate of 24.4 per cent beyond the arc. He made only three 3s in his entire sophomore season in 2011-12 and had 12 last season. "He might keep bombing 3s now," Beal joked. The Wizards set a franchise record with 18 3-pointers on 33 attempts. Wall was more impressed with the team getting its first win than his effort. "Theyre a great competitive team, and I like how they play as a young team," Wall said. "They dont give up. They definitely keep fighting until the end." EvanTurner led Philadelphia with 24 points and SpencerHawes had 13. Rookie MichaelCarter-Williams finished with 19 points, seven assists and five rebounds. After a surprising 3-0 start, the Sixers have lost two straight and are starting to play like the team that oddsmakers predicted would win less than 17 games this season. The Sixers sandwiched wins over Miami and Chicago with a comeback win at Washington last week. They overcame a 12-point, third-quarter deficit to beat the Wizards 109-102 and spoil their home opener on Friday. "They were a desperate team trying to find a win against a team that beat them five days ago," Sixers rookie coach Brett Brown said. "We made some not-so smart plays. I give them credit." The Wiizards led this one from the opening basket and never let up. cheap nfl jerseys. They had a 15-point lead midway through the first quarter after Beal hit his third 3-pointer in three tries, and took a 60-51 lead into halftime. The Sixers got close in the third following an 11-3 run. Turner started it with a pull-up jumper and he hit another jumper and 3-pointer during the stretch. Hawes layup cut it to 71-67, but Wall answered with a 3, and Gortat and Nene scored on tip-ins to extend the lead to 78-67. Beals jumper to start the fourth put the Wizards up by 15 and they led by double digits the rest of the way. "We withstood some stretches and we didnt succumb," Wizards coach Randy Wittman said. "We didnt put our heads down. We sustained. I didnt see any guys down." The fast start had Sixers fans feeling a bit perplexed. Many are hoping for the team to lose so they could end up with the No. 1 overall pick so they could draft Kansas prospect Andrew Wiggins. But Brown and his team generated some early excitement so that created a dilemma for some fans who wanted the team to go winless for Wiggins. Opponents certainly are showing the Sixers respect. Beal called them a "good" team, a compliment no one wouldve expected. "When we play like this, we showed we can beat good teams," Beal said. "We know theyre a comeback team and we did a good job." NOTES: The 18 3s tied a floor record. Seattle had 18 at the Wells Fargo Center on Nov. 16, 2004. ... Philadelphias DanielOrton left the game because of right knee soreness. He had five points in six minutes. ... The Sixers outshot the Wizards 47 per cent to 43.9, but Washingtons 3s made the difference. Philadelphia was 6 for 18 from beyond the arc. cheap jerseys ' ' '

MEMPHIS, Tenn. Ahmad Bradshaw Jersey . -- PhilMickelson came to the St. Jude Classic wanting to tune up for the U.S. Open at Pinehurst by finishing strong. He did just that Thursday. Mickelson shot a 3-under 67, birdieing three of his final four holes in windy conditions before a thunderstorm softened up TPC Southwind. It was his first round in the 60s since the third round at the Wells Fargo Championship. He hadnt shot below 70 since. He missed the cut at The Players Championship and tied for 49th last week in the Memorial following a visit from FBI agents and lingering questions about an insider-trading investigation. Lefty hasnt won in 19 events dating to the British Open and is among the players in Tennessee tuning up for Pinehurst. "I did exactly what I need to do and some momentum that I need heading into the U.S. Open," Mickelson said. "Tomorrows round, the same thing. Finish strong and play a good round." BenCrane shot a 7-under 63 giving him the lead in the suspended first round, taking advantage of the 3 1/2-hour delay that left nearly perfect scoring conditions with no wind and rain-softened greens. He had five of his seven birdies on his final nine, the last a few minutes before play was suspended because of darkness. Sixty players were unable to finish the round. Peter Malnati shot a 65, and BillyHorschel also was 5 under with two holes left to play. RetiefGoosen and JoeDurant each had a 66, while StuartAppleby, ZachJohnson and JasonBohn were on the course at 4 under. Appleby had a hole-in-one on the 157-yard eighth hole, using a 7-iron. That was his 17th hole, and the last one he completed. Crane needed only 24 putts for his best round of the season, including a 27-footer for birdie on his final hole at No. 9 with only a handful of people watching because officials closed the course to spectators because of the high winds with the storm. "We caught a huge break being on this side of the wave," Crane said. "You know this is ideal Memphis weather. Its as good as it gets. It was calm, barely any wind. The greens softened up. We were able to attack some of the pins." Mickelelson, who tied for second at Southwind last year, was among the 53 players who finished before play was delayed. Even with tricky wind Thursday morning, Mickelson said his focus on each shot was much better. Hes trying to better visualize the shot and curve his irons so that his approach shots land closer to the hole, giving him more tap-in opportunities. Finishing with the three birdies in his final four holes was exactly what he wanted in a round with five birdies and two bogeys. He hit his approach from 135 yards on the par-4 sixth to 5 feet and rolled in the birdie putt. He left himself longer putts with a 7-footer on the par-3 eighth and an 11-footer on the par-4 ninth, but knocked them in for his strong finish. "Ive been struggling with finishing the round strong," Mickelson said. "I had a good round last week on Thursday and then played poorly. To birdie three of the last four made it a great round. Thats exactly what I need to do." Firm greens made it tough to land balls close, but Goosen credited them with helping him roll in some of his birdie putts. He sunk a couple from 5 feet or closer, but also had a couple birdie putts from 14 feet. Goosen also saved par on No. 7 with a 12-foot putt. "The greens are as good as greens as you can get," Goosen said. "The greens are rolling close to 13 on the stimpmeter. They are really good. You hit the right putt, they are going to go in." A seven-time winner on the PGA Tour, Goosen hasnt won on tour since 2009. He has two top-10 finishes this year as he continues his comeback from back surgery in August 2012. He tied for third in Memphis in 2011 and said he really likes the course. Divots: RobertGarrigus withdrew after hurting his wrist in the 18th fairway. He had a 79 that included three bogeys, a double and an 8 on the par-4 17th. ... Players will resume the second round at 7 a.m., with the second round starting approximately 40 minutes later. Jonathan Newsome Jersey . "First, I would like to offer my deepest and sincerest apologies for any harm I have inflicted on University of Missouri defensive lineman, Michael Sam," the statement read. Dwayne Allen Jersey . Bryan Murray made an announcement after the GMs meetings - and as was reported by Pierre LeBrun a couple of weeks ago - that JasonSpezza wants a trade out of Ottawa. They made their early runs hold up, beating Los Angeles 8-4 Friday and spoiling the Dodgers home opener played nearly two weeks after they began the season in Australia. MichaelMorse keyed a six-run first inning with a two-run single in the Giants highest-scoring opening inning since they scored six on June 2, 2008, against the Mets. "We had some breaks and we know it," Giants manager Bruce Bochy said, "so you take them." DavidHuff (1-0) got the victory, allowing two hits in 1 2-3 innings of relief while striking out three. After retiring the first two batters, Hyun-JinRyu got pummeled for six runs while giving up six hits, including four in a row as the Giants batted around. They finished Ryu with two more runs in the second, extending their lead to 8-0. It was the South Koreans shortest outing as a Dodger. Ryu and four relievers combined to hold the Giants hitless over the final 7 1-3 innings. "I dont really feel like he got thumped," Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said. "We didnt help him for sure. Things didnt go his way, but I like the way he handled himself. He could have gotten irritated." Ryu (1-1) gave up a career-high eight runs -- six earned -- and eight hits while getting six outs. The left-hander walked three and struck out two while making his third start in six games. He was moved up in the rotation after injured ace ClaytonKershaw went on the disabled list for the first time in his career with a strained muscle in his back. Kershaw may be out a month. "You wish it was one of those games buried on a Tuesday night in August instead of opening day," Dodgers catcher A.J.Ellis said. "It was one of those games where he (Ryu) just couldnt catch a break." PabloSandoval walked, BusterPosey singled and Morse singled them in for a 2-0 lead. Center fielder MattKemp bobbled Morses hit, allowing him to take second on the error, and BrandonBelt singled in another run. Activated from the disabled list before the game, Kemp wasnt originally in the lineup but was inserted after YasielPuig arrived late to the ballpark and was removed from the batting order. "The first two innings were sloppy defensively," Kemp said. "We didnt do a good job of anything, but we kept fighting. We kept grinding. "Im sincerely sorry. It was my fault," he said. "Ill be here early tomorrow." Pitcher RyanVogelsongs bloop single scored Belt and BrandonHicks after an intentional walk to JoaquinArias, extending San Franciscos lead to 5-0. AngelPagans RBI single tacked on another run. Hicks had an RBI double and Arias added an RBI single to make it 8-0 in the second. Bochy successfully challenged a call in the seventh after HanleyRamirez singled leading off and was called safe in stealing second. Second base umpire Marty Fosters call was overturned under the new video review rule. "Thats a big call. Theres nobody out and they got the leadoff hitter on, but it worked out well," Bochy said. "We also had one before today that didnt work out well, so hopefully at the end of the season, you have more that go your way. But I like it. I just take it for granted that you have to use your challenge if you have one." The Dodgers got back-to-back homers by AdrianGonzalez and AndreEthier leading off the fourth to trail 8-2. Kemp doubled in a run in the fifth, his first hit in his season debut after rehabbing left ankle and shoulder injuries. "It felt good to come back. Its been a rough 1 1/2 years for me," Kemp said. Vogelsong allowed seven hits and four runs in four-plus innings. He struck out four and walked two. "Ive been throwing the ball exactly the way I wanted to. I just got away from it a little bit," he said. "Ill try to get my stuff cleaned up before the next outing." Notes: The Dodgers streak of winning every home opener since 2008 ended at six. They are 28-25 in home openers. ... The Dodgers allowed the most runs in a home opener since 2006, when they lost 11-10 to Atlanta. ... The Dodgers entire team was introduced for the fifth time this season, including twice in Australia and twice in San Diego, where they opened the North American portion of the schedule. ... Dodgers Hall of Fame announcer Vin Scully rode in a baby blue 1965 Mustang convertible to home plate, where he handed rather than tossed the first pitch to Hall of Famer Sandy Koufax while other Dodger greats who had defining career moments announced by Scully ringed the plate. ... When Vancouver Whitecaps head coach Carl Robinson last week compared his new playmaker Pedro Morales to Major League Soccer standouts Diego Valeri and Federico Higuain, he was setting a very high standard for the clubs new Designated Player. Robbie Gould Jersey . On Saturday, in just 25 minutes of action as a second half substitute, the Chilean midfielder showed exactly why his new manager has such high hopes. On a day when almost everything went right for Vancouver, Morales short but extremely influential performance capped a wonderful afternoon for the Whitecaps as they opened the 2014 season with a 4-1 win against the New York Red Bulls at BC Place. Robinson was quick to dampen expectations for his new look team following the victory, but the rookie head coach couldnt have asked for a better start to his managerial career as his side showed the attacking qualities he wants to be the trademark of his club. "Well be free-spirited and exciting," Robinson said in the buildup to the season opener. "I want players who can lift me to my feet." On Saturday, he certainly got that, as the Whitecaps turned on the style in the second half. Of course its far too early to draw any conclusion about how Vancouver will fare this season based on one result against a New York side that looked poor, but the initial signs are extremely encouraging. Morales started the match on the bench after a hectic travel schedule and only a couple of training sessions with his new team, but it didnt take long for the Whitecaps fans to get a glimpse of the fantastic technical ability their new signing possesses. There were a few fancy touches as well as a superb through ball for Kenny Millers second goal of the game, and then Morales scored himself in the closing stages to complete the rout. It was an impressive debut. It wasnt just Morales. There were quality performances throughout the team. Young Uruguayan Sebastian Fernandez played on the left side of the three attacking midfielders in the Whitecaps 4-2-3-1 formation and was influential throughout. He took his goal beautifully and was a creative spark, but he also worked very hard defensively. Darren Mattocks had one of his best games as a Whitecap. He didnt score, but the Jamaican international finally showed he is capable of playing the lone striker role. He has a point to prove after a disappointing 2013 season, but if his attitude is right, he has all the qualities needed to be a success. Veteran forward Kenny Miller scored twice, the second a lovely chip over the goalkeeper. Like Mattocks, Miller is playing for his future in Vancouver. The Scottish striker wants to stay with the club when his current contract expires this summer. While he wont grab the headlines for his goal-scoring performances, one of the biggest off-season upgrades for the Whitecaps has been the signing of Designated Player Matias Laba from Toronto FC. Described by Robinson as "a destroyer," the young Argentine was superb in breaking up play, protecting the back four and starting moves with excellent vision and distribution. Hes a player who will make the jobs of those around him much easier. Central defenders Jay DeMerit and Andy OBrien will benefit greatly from Labas presence, as will his midfield partner Nigel Reo-Coker who will now be able to get forward more. We saw near the end of the game what Reo-Coker is capable of when he has license to attack, assisting on the goal scored by Morales. Another big strength for the Whitecaps this season will be the depth within the squad. Along with Morales, Saturdays substitutes included attacking options Kekuta Manneh, Erik Hurtado and Nicolas Mezquida, midfielder Gershon Koffie and Honduran international defender Johnny Leveron. "Its important to start off on the right foot," said Robinson. "Its important that I keep pushing them to those standards. We did well, but there are still 33 more games to go." Now as the Whitecaps begin preparing for their first road game of the new season at Chivas USA in California next weekend, Robinson has some interesting decisions ahead. He will want to get Morales into the starting lineup as soon as possible, but after Saturdays performance, it will be difficult to leave anyone out. Vancouver Whitecaps at Chivas USA on Sunday, March 16 is live on CTV BC 2. Kickoff is 4pm PT. Kyle Fuller Jersey For Sale . -- An accomplished veteran in open-wheel racing, Alex Tagliani probably could find a full-time ride in the IndyCar series if he wanted it badly enough. Gale Sayers Jersey For Sale . He leaves as a potential first overall pick, and one of the most dynamic, breath-taking players in college football history. TORONTO -- Randy Carlyle really liked how the Toronto Maple Leafs started against the San Jose Sharks. In a game he saw as a measuring stick, they got three shots on net in the first two minutes and looked like they could hang with one of the top teams in the NHL. Then FrazerMcLaren took exception to AndrewDesjardins hit on JerredSmithson and things fell apart. McLarens penalty was the first of many costly ones as the Leafs lost to the Sharks 4-2 Tuesday night at Air Canada Centre, their fifth straight defeat. "Disciplines a huge part," said Leafs winger MasonRaymond, who scored a goal and committed two penalties. "Youre killing penalties, youre not playing offence and youre playing in your own zone, so were kind of shooting ourselves in the foot there." Taking ill-timed penalties is often a recipe for failure, and thats especially the case against a high-powered team like the Sharks (19-3-5), who entered the game second in the league in goals per game. But more so than giving them the man advantage, the Leafs (14-11-3) stunted their own flow by going to the box. McLarens penalty came not long after the Leafs got the games first three shots in the first 1:21 and controlled much of the play. Even though the Sharks didnt score on the ensuing power play, they didnt give the puck up much for the rest of the period. Former Leafs forward MikeBrown opened the scoring for the Sharks midway through the period when he tipped a shot from defenceman JasonDemers five-hole past JamesReimer. "It kind of bounced around a little bit and just squeezed through," said Reimer, who made 37 saves. "I wasnt able to close my legs quick enough. Thats just the way she goes." The lasting effect of San Joses seemingly never-ending possession was the Leafs trying desperately to catch up. When JayMcClement took a hooking penalty and then Raymond was called for tripping 33 seconds later, the Sharks wasted little time before captain JoeThornton scored on the five-on-three power play to take the lead. "Go down five-on-three, and that took the momentum totally for the period in their favour," Carlyle said, making reference in part to a 17:17 shot drought the Leafs went through. "When you give a hockey team like that momentum, they can skate, theyre big, there was no real surprise on what they were going to do. They did it. And it took us till the second period before we got our things going." The Leafs got things going in part because of San Joses lack of discipline. Raymond scored a power-play goal off the rush 2:44 in, and PhilKessel was the beneficiary of LoganCoutures high-sticking minor later when he scored on the power play. Matt Forte Jersey. Centre TylerBozak, who fed Kessel for his 200th career goal and 15th of the season, left the game for good after with what Carlyle called an upper-body injury. The Leafs were already without centre NazemKadri, who missed the game with a death in his family. Carlyle didnt know the severity of Bozaks injury but acknowledged that it hurt against the Sharks. "For half the game, almost, we were short," he said. "We had three centres. Were taxing a lot of people here right now." For part of the second period, the Sharks were getting taxed thanks to the Leafs turning the tide. "I think we maybe got a bit lackadaisical at the start of the second period for about 10 minutes and they really gave it to us," Thornton said." The 10-minute mark it kind of switched. We had a timeout and we kind of flipped it back on them." Naturally it was another penalty that caused the reversal. The Sharks had started to get more attack time, and when Raymond took a high-sticking penalty, it gave San Jose the spark it needed. Again, the Sharks didnt have a power-play goal to show for their efforts, but they had enough attack time to put the Leafs on their heels. At no point was that more evident than on the shift that led to MarkStuarts game-winner. Torontos fourth line of McLaren, Smithson and ColtonOrr were caught on the ice for 1:48. The Leafs had chances to clear it, including MorganRielly failing to ice the puck, but when they didnt, Stuart skated in and scored his third of the season. "Theyre tired and theyre fourth line so, no disrespect, but you can maybe try things that you ordinarily wouldnt do," Stuart said. "I think we had a lot of good looks on that shift. We were able to get a good bounce and capitalize on it." Having the fourth line and a 19-year-old defenceman on the ice for almost two minutes wasnt what the Leafs wanted, but they got some chances to tie it in the third. Ultimately it wasnt enough, and Couture iced it with an empty-net goal at 18:36 of the final period. "I thought we worked hard out there, I thought the effort and the compete level was there," winger JamesvanRiemsdyk said. "(We made) a couple mistakes. Theyre a good hockey team, theyre going to capitalize on their chances." NOTES -- The Leafs held a pre-game moment of silence for Toronto police constable John Zivcic, who died in a car accident Saturday. ... CodyFranson missed his second straight game with a lower-body injury. Carlyle had called him a game-time decision, but the defenceman did not take part in warm-ups. cheap jerseys ' ' '

BALTIMORE - Of course it wasnt going to be easy. Heath Miller Jersey . It never is for the Baltimore Orioles, who endured much anxiety and drama during their first victory since July 3. AlfredoSimon pitched seven innings of three-hit ball, NickMarkakis homered and scored three runs, and the Orioles held on to beat the Cleveland Indians 6-5 Saturday night to end a nine-game losing streak. Baltimore took a 6-2 lead into the ninth inning before closer KevinGregg gave up three straight one-out walks. After LonnieChisenhall struck out, OrlandoCabrera cleared the bases with a double. Mike Gonzalez then retired GradySizemore on a grounder to earn his first save and help Baltimore snap its longest skid of the year. The Orioles had lost 14 of 15 and were 6-23 since June 11. Afterward, there rap music played in the Baltimore clubhouse as the players celebrated their second win of the month. "We havent had music in a while," third baseman MarkReynolds said. "It feels good to shake hands after the game and put that streak behind us." The ninth inning wasnt the only compelling aspect of the game. Simon is scheduled to leave Sunday for the Dominican Republic, where he will attend a hearing Monday in the Jan. 1 shooting death of his cousin. No charges have been filed in the case, which stems from a celebration in which guns were shot in the air. Simon could return within a few days, although there really is no set timetable. "When I was there (on the mound) I dont think about that," he said. "I just get my job done and do it the best I can so my family could see my game tonight. I wanted to do it for them over there. And when I show up over there, theyre waiting for me and that makes me feel good. I dont really think about that thing." Simon (2-2) became the second Baltimore starter in the last 29 games to complete seven innings. The former closer allowed two runs, walked one and struck out five in his longest stint since September 2008. "I think theres a lot of things in peoples lives, obviously not as serious as whats going on in his, that players have to somehow put out of their mind a little bit for three, two hours," manager Buck Showalter said. "Where his life is concerned, where he is right now, its a little different scale. Im sure he feels a little better getting on the plane tomorrow after having a good outing." It was the first time in 11 games that Baltimore did not yield at least 10 hits. Orioles starters were 2-12 with a 9.60 earned-run average in 18 games before Simon reversed the trend. Despite the loss, the Indians maintained their one-game lead over Detroit in the AL Central. Cleveland was 5-0 against the Orioles this season. The Indians had only one base runner in the first five innings and trailed 2-0 before pulling even in the sixth. AustinKearns hit a roller to third for a single and LouMarson walked before first baseman DerrekLee snagged a hard-hit grounder and tagged the bag. MichaelBrantley followed with a two-run double to right-centre. Markakis connected off CarlosCarrasco (8-7) in the bottom half, his eighth of the season and first since July 2. In the eighth, Markakis and AdamJones hit successive doubles off RafaelPerez to make it 4-2. FelixPie then doubled in two runs off FrankHerrmann, a hit that turned out to be quite significant in the wake of Greggs collapse. "You always like tack-on runs," Showalter said, "especially when you have the top of their order coming up and the firepower they have." Markakis finished with two doubles and a homer, the third time in his career hes had three extra-base hits in a game. Carrasco gave up three runs and five hits in seven innings. He has lost his last three starts. "I thought Carlos threw well, kept us in the game, gave us a chance to win," Indians manager Manny Acta said. "Simon was very tough. We couldnt do much against him. ... We put up a fight at the end, but unfortunately when we gave up a three spot in the eighth that put us in a big hole over there, and that was the story." After agreeing to a three-year extension earlier in the day, Orioles shortstop J.J.Hardy promptly offered proof to justify the deal. He led off the first inning with a double, advanced on a fly ball and came home on a sacrifice fly by Jones for a 1-0 lead. Simon retired all nine batters until Brantley singled leading off the fourth. He was wiped out on a 3-6-1 double play. Baltimore went up 2-0 in the bottom half. Markakis hit a leadoff double and was on third base with two outs when Lee delivered an RBI single. Lee was thrown out at the plate trying to score on a double by Reynolds. NOTES: After the game, the Orioles placed DH VladimirGuerrero (hand) on the 15-day disabled list and optioned LHP PedroViola to double-A Bowie. Baltimore recalled LHP TroyPatton and OF MattAngle from triple-A Norfolk. ... With the victory, Showalter avoided the longest skid of his career. ... PARIS -- Top-seeded Maria Sharapova lost 4-6, 6-3, 6-4 to Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in an all-Russian semifinal of the Open GDF Suez on Saturday. Clay Matthews Womens Jersey . Pavlyuchenkova will play third-seeded Sara Errani of Italy for her first final since the Korea Open in September. Errani outlasted Alize Cornet of France 7-6 (3), 3-6, 7-6 (5). "I knew that I had to serve well because Maria has one of the best returns on the tour, probably," Pavlyuchenkova said. "I remember playing her like three or four years ago, she broke me a lot of times and that was the key for her to win." In their only previous meeting, Sharapova beat Pavlyuchenkova in 2010 in Cincinnati. Sharapova led 3-0 in the opening set but her compatriot broke back in the seventh game. Pavlyuchenkova lost the first set by sending a backhand wide as Sharapova imposed her aggressive game, having a 15-9 edge in winners and winning nine of 10 points at the net. "I thought I started the match really well but, as the match continued, I stopped doing the things that really helped me in the beginning," Sharapova said. "I wasnt being aggressive, I wasnt in the court." Pavlyuchenkova put the four-time Grand Slam champion under pressure in the second set, capitalizing on a double fault and a forehand error to break Sharapova in the opening game. The 26th-ranked Pavlyuchenkova evened the match with a backhand winner. "She found her spots really well," Sharapova said. "Theres not much I could do when she hit those good first serves." They traded breaks early in the final set. Sharapova lost the match by finishing with two consecutive double faults. Sharapova made five double faults in the last set, landing only 48 per cent of her first serves. In the second semifinal, Cornet won five more points than Errani, but the Italian held her nerve in the tiebreakers. Errani failed to serve out the first set at 5-4 and 6-5. But last years runner-up recovered by jumping to a 5-1 lead in the tiebreaker. Cornet netted a forehand to drop the opening set. Cornet broke serve three times in the second set and levelled the match with a backhand winner. In the final set, Errani failed to serve out the match at 5-4 but she steadied herself to win the last two points in the tiebreaker. Dave Robinson Jersey . The league announced the decision on its website Saturday, shortly before AC Milan was due to kick off against Genoa at 6 p.m. local time. The 25-year-old Morosini died about an hour earlier after suffering cardiac arrest during his teams Serie B match at Pescara. Clay Matthews Jersey . A Swiss Federal Tribunal ruling published Friday said that FIFAs disputes panel and the Court of Arbitration for Sport correctly imposed the sanction for Nantes enticing Guinea forward Ismael Bangoura to break his contract with Dubai club Al Nasr in January 2012.Each week, we will run down the top waiver wire pickups with a focus on the coming week and rest of the season. QUARTERBACKS JasonCampbell (vs Ravens)Last week: 22/37, 293 yards, 2TDsCampbell earned himself a second straight start for the Browns after a strong showing in a narrow loss to the undefeated Chiefs last week. The Browns have basically moved on from the BrandonWeeden era so barring injury Campbell will be the starter the rest of the way. Its a good thing too because Campbell has a much better arm, and also showed better movement and decision making than Weeden is capable of. Hes a good QB2 against the Ravens this week. CaseKeenum (vs Colts)Last week: 15/25, 271 yards, 1 TD, 1 INTKeenum was impressive if unspectacular in making his first NFL start on the road against a very good Chiefs defence two weeks ago. He showed nice touch on his throws never looked flustered and hey, he didnt throw a pick-six as Texans QBs have been wont to do this year. Coming off the bye week, Keenum will have had plenty of time running the first team offence and practice and should be well prepared to face a Colts defence that, while still good, is nowhere near as dominant as the Chiefs. TerrellePryor (vs Eagles)Last week: 10/19, 87 yards, 2INTs; 106 rush yards, rush TDPryor turned in a complete dud in the passing game last week throwing for just 87 yards with two interceptions and no touchdowns. But if you had him in your fantasy lineup you probably werent all that upset about it thanks to his 93-yard rushing touchdown on the Raiders opening drive. His rushing numbers likely wont be that gaudy again this week, but his passing numbers should improve against the Eagles. Even mediocre passing games can produce nice fantasy results with Pryor thanks to his legs. NickFoles (at Raiders)Last week: injuredFoles appears likely to return from his concussion this week and with MichaelVick out indefinitely with a hamstring injury, Foles would undoubtedly get the nod from Chip Kelly over MattBarkley. Foles has done a decent job when called upon for the Eagles and can probably be considered a solid QB2 with potential against the Raiders this week. Others: JoshMcCown (vs Packers), RyanTannehill (vs Bengals) RUNNING BACKS DarylRichardson (vs Titans) Last week: 8 carries, 39 yards, 1 catch, 8 yardsZacStacy went down with an ankle injury in the fourth quarter of the Rams loss to the Seahawks on Monday night opening the door for Richardson in Week 9. If Stacys ankle turns out to be serious, which it appeared to be, then Richardson figures to see a heavy workload as the Rams lead-back. The Rams offence is a mess right now so I wouldnt expect a very efficient day carrying the ball, but given enough volume that might not matter for fantasy purposes. BenTate (vs Colts)Last week: ByeTate is still dealing with four broken ribs, but is progressing well in his recovery and figures to play against the Colts this week. With ArianFosters status up in the air due to a hamstring injury Tate figures to see a pretty sizeable workload against Indianapolis if he plays. If Foster cant go then Tate becomes a must start in virtually all formats. ShaneVereen (vs Steelers - out)Last week: injured reserveVereen has been on IR designated to return with a broken wrist since his breakout effort in Week 1. He isnt due back until after the Patriots bye in Week 11 but now is the time to start thinking about stashing him if you have room on your bench. When he returns, Vereen figures to slide right back into his featured role on passinng downs as a hybrid running back/receiver. Davante Adams Jersey. In the Patriots offence that gives Vereen a lot of value, particularly in PPR formats. AndreBrown (Bye)Last week: injured reserveMuch like Vereen, Brown is soon to return from the IR. He has been practicing the last two weeks and is expected to return as soon as he is eligible in Week 10 following the Giants bye. As soon as he does, Brown figures to see a lot of carries given the state of the Giants backfield. PeytonHillis has been mediocre, BrandonJacobs has too and is dealing with a gimpy hamstring while DavidWilson still has no timetable for his return from a neck injury. Others: AndreEllington (Bye), JosephRandle (vs Vikings) WIDE RECEIVERS MarvinJones (at Dolphins)Last week: 8 catches, 122 yards, 4 TDLook, there is no way that Jones will repeat his four touchdown performance again this season, but thats three straight weeks now that he has found the endzone. Jones has established himself as a legitimate red zone target and is developing some nice chemistry with AndyDalton. However, expectations should be tempred somewhat given the fact that Jones played on just 19 snaps in the Bengals win over the Jets. KennyStills (at Jets)Last week: 3 catches, 129 yards, 2 TDStills is not someone you can rely on for consistent week to week production given how evenly DrewBrees distributes the ball to his receivers not named JimmyGraham. However, he is establishing himself as the Saints primary deep threat which means there is always the potential for a big game. Stills scored on passing plays of 69 and 42 yards on Sunday. Hes hit or miss, but theres big upside. DarriusHeyward-Bey (at Texans)Last Week: ByeWith ReggieWayne lost for the year, Heyward-Bey figures to have an increased role in the Colts offence coming out of their bye. T.Y.Hilton is now the Colts No.1 receiver, but Heyward-Bey has a chance to establish himself as a solid second option. DHB played a significant role in the Colts win over the Broncos in Week 7 catching four balls for 44 yards and a touchdown and should see an even bigger workload against the Texans this week.. DexterMcCluster (at Bills)Last Week: 7 catches, 67 yards, 1 TD; McCluster would be a very speculative pickup in most formats at this point but might be worth a flyer as he is getting more and more looks in the passing game. He has led the Chiefs in receiving in each of the last two weeks hauling in 11 balls for 137 yards with one touchdown. If your league values return yardage then McCluster is definitely worth an add. Others: AaronDobson (vs Steelers), LanceMoore (at Jets), KrisDurham (Bye), DrewDavis (at Panthers) TIGHT ENDS CobyFleener (at Texans)Last week: ByeMuch like Heyward-Bey, Fleener figures to see an increased workload with ReggieWayne out. In fact, Fleener may end up reaping the rewards of Waynes absence even more than DHB will since he is better suited to a possession role than Heyward-Bey whose main asset is speed. TimWright (at Seahawks)Last week: 5 catches, 48 yards, 1 TDThe Bucs rookie tight end was targetd eight times by fellow rookie MikeGlennon last week and hauled in five catches for 48 yards and his first career touchdown. Wright has been targeted at least six times in three of the Bucs last four games and is clearly becoming a focal part of their passing offence. He is quickly climbing up the TE rankings. Others: TylerEifert (at Dolphins), ScottChandler (vs Chiefs), Garret Graham (vs Colts) cheap jerseys ' ' '

MINNEAPOLIS -- BrianDozier has been everywhere for the Minnesota Twins during a breakout season for the sweet-swinging, slick-fielding second baseman.Erik Walden Womens Jersey . So it was no surprise that he had his fingerprints all over an eventful ninth inning against the Chicago White Sox. Dozier started a superb double play in the top of the inning that snuffed out Chicagos chances of taking the lead and then delivered the game-winning single in the bottom of the frame to lift the Twins to a 5-4 victory Friday night. "The walk-off hit, it is what it is, but thats probably one of the best feelings Ive had in a while, to be honest with you," Dozier said of his defensive gem. The White Sox had already scored twice off closer GlenPerkins (3-0) to tie the game, and manager Ron Gardenhire decided to walk GordonBeckham to load the bases with one out. ConorGillaspie sent a high chopper in Doziers direction, and he had to make a split-second decision whether to come home with the throw or try to start the double play. He zipped a throw to shortstop Danny Santana, who fired a laser to JoeMauer at first base that ended the inning. "Hats off to Danny," Dozier said. "If he doesnt have an AK-47 attached to his body, we probably dont turn the double play." KurtSuzuki had three hits and an RBI and the Twins picked up Perkins, who blew his third save in 21 chances. In the bottom of the ninth, DanielWebb (4-1) walked EduardoEscobar and SamFuld with one out and Escobar beat the throw home with a beautiful slide to win it. The play was confirmed upon review. "I thought there was no way he made the plate, because I felt his hand on my cleat," White Sox catcher Adrian Nieto. "The replay showed he reached back with his right hand. So, he did a great job." Dozier, who is in consideration for the All-Star game thanks to his 15 home runs and stellar defence, was mobbed by his teammates after the big hit and cheered loudly as he exited the field. "Hes into the game pretty good," Gardenhire said. "Hes a fun player to watch play baseball." Beckham and Jose Abreu homered for the White Sox. Escobar drove in two runs and RickyNolasco gave up two runs and six hits in 5 1-3 innings to help the Twins to their second straight win after a five-game losing streak. HectorNoesi gave up four runs, six hits and struck out four in seven innings for the White Sox, who lost for the sixth time in the last eight games. Nolasco got off to an inauspicious start when Beckham and Abreu hit 825 feet worth of home runs off him in the first inning for a 2-0 lead. Beckhams was a screamer into the second deck in left field while Abreus landed in the bullpen in left-centre for his 21st of the season, drawing boos from an impatient home crowd. But the offence picked him up. Escobars 22nd double of the season scored two in the three-run second inning and Suzuki drove in another to make it 4-2 in the third. Nolasco settled down after that, not allowing a runner past first base over the next four innings. But the right-hander who was brought in to stabilize the top of a lacklustre rotation has often run into problems with a big inning later in his starts and Gardenhire didnt take any chances when two hitters reached base with one out in the sixth. "I was lucky to give up just two runs to that lineup with the stuff I had," Nolasco said. NOTES: The White Sox had their 23rd multi-homer game of the season. They are 18-5 in those games. ... Twins RF OswaldoArcia returned to the lineup after getting two days off to try and clear his head during a 2-for-32 slump. He went 0 for 3 and was hit by a pitch. ... RHP KevinCorreia (3-8, 5.29) will take the mound for the Twins on Saturday against RHP AndreRienzo (4-4, 5.67). Reggie Wayne Colts Jersey . The Jackals beat the Goldeyes in the final two games of that series in Little Falls to claim their second straight league championship. The Jackals took the lead early on Tuesday night, with two solo home runs in the first inning to get ahead two runs. They added another run on a sac fly in the bottom of the fourth, and tacked on their fourth run in the bottom of the fifth.Jackals pitcher Gabriel Perez kept the Goldeyes bats quiet. He went strong for seven innings, facing only 22 batters, striking out five and giving up only one hit to the Fish.He kept us off balance for the most part, said Goldeyes Pitching Coach Jamie Vermilyea of Perez on the Jewel 101 Post-Game Show. He pitched a good game.Despite beinng on the hook for all four of the Jackals runs, and the loss, Goldeyes pitcher Chris Salamida was able to retire the last seven batters he faced. Ricky Jean-Francois Womens Jersey. He also recorded six strikeouts, and only gave up one walk over his seven innings of work.He also pitched well, said Vermilyea. He made a few mistakes there in the first inning, but he also got out of a few jams, and gave us a chance to win.The Goldeyes only run came in top of the ninth. Casey Haerther reached on a single and then was driven in on a Jake Blackwood RBI double. Its good to end on somewhat of a positive note. Hopefully we can keep the batting momentum going into the game tomorrow, Vermilyea said. With the loss the Goldeyes move a game and a half back of the St. Paul Saints for second in the American Association North Division. The Goldeyes continue their series against the Jackals tomorrow and Thursday with both games going at 6 p.m. Tomorrow the Goldeyes will send Nick Hernandez (2-0) to the mound to face New Jerseys Keith Bilodeau (0-1). HOUSTON -- Texans Pro Bowl linebacker BrianCushing is out for the season with a left knee injury that will require surgery. cheap jerseys from china . Cushing was injured in the third quarter of Sundays loss at Kansas City during a low block by running back JamaalCharles. Its the second straight year Cushing has been lost for the season with a left knee injury. He tore the anterior cruciate ligament in the same knee in Week 5 last season. Its a devastating blow for a team that has lost five games in a row heading into its bye on Sunday. "I think he was playing at a defensive player of the year-type of level," coach Gary Kubiak said. "Then here he goes again, hes got to go through this. So I know its very difficult for him ... (and) I know Cush will do everything he can to get back. But you hate to see anybody go through that especially twice now." The Texans signed Cushing to a six-year contract worth $55.6 million before this season. Kubiak said injuries to left tackle DuaneBrown (ankle), running back ArianFoster (hamstring) and BenTate (ribs) arent serious. Tate was injured in the third quarter on Sunday but returned and finished the game. He told The Associated Press on Monday that he has four broken ribs. He was in a lot of pain, even wincing when he took off his sweatshirt, but said that he expects to be ready to play when Houston hosts Indianapolis on Nov. 3. "Ill be OK," he said. Kubiak also said rookies CierreWood, SamMontgomery and WillieJefferson were released for violating team rules. He wouldnt specify what the players did, but did say it wasnt just one thing. "I make decisions based on a body of work in everything I do," he said. "Ive got five months of work invested with those three young men and I made a decision today to move forward. Weve got some things we need to address as a football team." Wood is a running back who was third on the depth chart after making the team as an undrafted free agent. With Foster and Tate both banged up, the Texans will need to add depth at that position with one of the open roster spots. Montgomery, a third-round pick, and Jefferson, who was undrafted, are both linebackers. "Weve got some rebuilding to do inside with some issues and weve got some special teams issues," Kubiak said. "So the moves that we make have got to be special teams-oriented to help (special teams coach) Joe (Marciano)." Players wouldnt discuss why the three were dismissed from the team, but said they agreed with Kubiaks decision. "Its a shame," linebacker BrooksReed said. "But its for the betterment of the team." Another issue for the Texans is the health of quarterback MattSchaub. Schaub struggled this season before missing last weeks game with ankle and foot injuries. Former third-stringer CaseKeenum got the start on Sunday in his first NFL game. He performed well for most of the game before a fumble late in the fourth quarter sealed Houstons loss. Kubiak was cagey when asked if Schaub would start after the bye if hes healthy. "Ive got to sit down and look at our situation and whats going on right now," he said. "Obviously Matts our starting quarterback, Case played this week because Matt wasnt healthy. Case went in and played extremely well. Im going to sit down on our bye week and evaluate where were at as a team and move forward from there." But he did rave about Keenums performance against the undefeated Chiefs. "To go in Kansas City in that environment and that noise and handle the football team the way he handled it I thought was impressive," Kubiak said. wholesale nfl jerseys . Bjoerndalen, who had failed to win any major race for two years before Sochi, writes in a Facebook entry that he is "full of energy and inspiration" after winning the 10-kilometre sprint and mixed relay at last months Olympics.LONDON -- Chelsea has posted annual losses of more than $80 million but the Premier League club remains confident of complying with UEFAs Financial Fair Play rules. The club slipped back into the red a year after making a profit for the first time since Russian billionaire owner Roman Abramovichs takeover in 2003. Chelsea lost 49.4 million pounds ($81.7 million) in the year to June 30, after making a profit of 1.4 million pounds ($2.3 million) in 2011-12. But UEFA, the governing body for European football, allows unlimited investment on infrastructure and youth development, which Chelsea believes accounted for around 15 million pounds ($25 million) in spending in 2012-13. UEFA is allowing losses of up to 45 million euros ($62 million) in the first FFP monitoring period -- 2011-2013 -- without the risk of being barred from European competitions. UEFA wants clubs to move toward breaking even on their football-related activities, and will be preparing in March and April to punish the first clubs for FFP breaches. "We will meet the stipulations set down by UEFA in their first assessment period," Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck said Tuesday in a statement giving a partial breakdown of financial results. "And by our own analysis we are progressing from a commercial viewpoint as well as continuing to add trophies to our collection, which we never lose sight of as our most important goal." The 2011-12 profit of 1.4 million pounds ($2.3 mmillion) came on the back of generating around 90 million pounds ($149 million) from the transfer market and a successful Champions League campaign. cheap jerseys. But Chelseas UEFA income was hit despite winning the Europa League in May because the team was knocked out of the more lucrative Champions League at the group stage. So, although Chelsea posted a record turnover of 255.8 million pounds ($423 million) in 2012-13, it only rose by 100,000 pounds ($165,500). But commercial income grew 20 per cent year-on-year to 79.6 million pounds ($132 million), and there should be a more significant uplift in 2013-14 when the first year of a 300 million-pound ($497-million), 10-year contract extension with kit maker Adidas kicks in. Chelsea has also advanced beyond the Champions League group stage this season and is third in the Premier League, two points behind leader Arsenal. "For Chelsea FC to achieve a record level of turnover despite our first group-stage elimination from the Champions League shows we have structured our business and are growing in the correct way for long-term stability," chief executive Ron Gourlay said. "Our philosophy is we build upon success on the pitch and although in these financial results we havent repeated the sizeable profits made the previous year from player transfers, we believe the age profile of the existing squad means we will benefit from that investment for many years to come." cheap jerseys ' ' '

HAMILTON, Ont. Jonathan Papelbon Jersey . -- The only role that the Hamilton Bulldogs have left to play is that of the spoiler, and on Saturday, they nearly made victims of the Rochester Americans. Phil Varone scored the shootout winner as the Americans overcame a third-period collapse for a crucial 4-3 win against the Bulldogs in American Hockey League action. Hamilton head coach Sylvain Lefebvre said he was pleased with his teams performance, even if it came in a losing effort. "Kudos to the guys, because although we came up short, it was great to see them show some grit and fight back against a team that needed those points," he said. Colton Gillies, Kevin Porter and Brady Irwin scored in regulation for the Americans (35-27-10), who extended their lead on the ninth-place Charlotte Checkers to three points in the Western Conference playoff race. Andrey Makarov made 35 saves for Rochester. Connor Crisp, Joonas Nattinen and Gabriel Dumont had goals for the Bulldogs (32-35-7) and Robert Mayer stopped 38 shots. Varone skated in slowly and out-waited Mayer before sliding the puck in at the far post. All three Rochester skaters scored in the shootout, while all three Hamilton attempts were denied by Makarov. The first quality chance in regulation time was by the Bulldogs five minutes into the first period, as the combination of Christian Thomas and Sven Andrighetto had several opportunities to shovel the puck past Makarov at point-blank range. But the Rochester goaltender successfully fought through a crowd to kick their weak shots aside. A burst of speed from Andrighetto paved the way as Hamilton opened the scoring at 15:01 of the first period. He raced past the defender along the right wing and managed to get a low shot off that Makarov could only kick into the path of the supporting Crisp, who easily slotted the puck into the gaping net. Just over two minutes later, the Americans tied it when Tim Schaller gloved down a clearing attempt by Nathan Beaulieu and found Gillies unmarked in the low slot. The forward had plenty of time and space in which to operate, and chipped a high shot over Mayers far shoulder at 17:07. Rochester capitalized on a strange bounce to take the lead just 11 seconds into the second period. A routine dump-in play by Matt McKenzie turned into something more when the puck ricocheted off a stanchion behind Mayers net and slid to Porter in front. He scored easily with Mayer scrambling to recover his position. Rochester doubled its lead at 7:08 of the period when Schaller received a centring pass and fired a low slap shot that Mayer knocked to his left, where Irwin was waiting to slot the puck in from close range. Despite trailing by two goals, the Bulldogs crucially killed two penalties, a 5-on-3 midway through the second and a double-minor to end the period, to keep the possibility of a comeback alive. "Penalty kills are always huge, when you can escape, especially the four-minute call," said Crisp. "We got some help there with the penalty against Rochester, but since Ive been with this team, our penalty killing has been really good." The Bulldogs closed to within a goal early in the third period, when Nattinen and Jack Nevins combined to overpower the Americans in the low slot. After Nevins outmuscled two Rochester defenders to get a backhanded shot on net, Nattinen gathered the loose puck and out-waited Makarov before lifting a high shot over his near shoulder at 5:07. Nattinen spoke highly of his young linemate, who he believes to have all the tools to succeed in the AHL. "(Nevins) seems like a really good player," he said. "You can see though, that hes used to playing bigger minutes. Hes good with the puck and makes good decisions. "He can definitely play in this league." Dumont completed the Bulldogs comeback at 10:56, springing a 2-on-1 break alongside Louis Leblanc and deciding to keep the puck, before snapping a hard wrist shot high and past Makarov at the far post. Hamilton piled the pressure on Rochester in the final minutes of the third, and it took the considerable effort of Makarov, and his left post, to send the game to extra time. Hamilton was 0-for-2 on the power play while Rochester went 0-for-4. Chuck Klein Phillies Jersey . He was being targeted on blocker side and made it look easy. The glove hand was real good as he made big saves on Pacioretty and Prust. He set them both up for the play by giving it and taking it away. He was not overly busy or pressed on second shots and it helped having a 7-spot to defend. CareyPrice, Montreal Canadiens (2) - It wasnt his day. He was hung out to dry by defensive miscuees, looked a bit unsettled and scrambled more than he usually has. Steve Carlton Jersey. He was lifted after the second period to get him out of the nightmare that was going on in front of him. He didnt have much of a chance on the two backdoor goals. A breakaway goal and a poor post play read on the fourth goal ended his day. PeterBudaj, Montreal Canadiens (1) - See the CareyPrice breakdown. It was a garage sale in the third period as the Rangers continued to push and take advantage of the front of the net. He did his best to stop the bleeding, but was victimized for three power play goals. In the end, he gave Price 20 minutes off from the Habs awful day. cheap jerseys ' ' '

There was quite a fireworks display at Shaw Park on Monday night. Steve Atwater Mens Camo Jersey . And that was before the official fireworks display. Tyler Kuhn hit a grand slam home run and had seven RBI; Reggie Abercrombie, Josh Mazzola, Casey Haerther and Donnie Webb also hit home runs; and in total, the Winnipeg Goldeyes had 22 hits and scored 23 runs. With an 8-3 win in the opener and an 15-1 shellacking in the night cap, the Goldeyes not only swept a Monday night doubleheader from the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, they swept a four-game series in the process. After taking two on Monday, the Goldeyes have won five straight, are 28-14 on the season and five-and-a-half games ahead of the St. Paul Saints and six games ahead of Fargo in the race for first in the American Associations North Division. In Game 1, Kuhn led the way with his first homer of the year and the Goldeyes first grand slam of the season as Winnipeg scored eight times in their final three at bats to win 8-3. Im a singles and doubles hitter, Kuhn said earlier this season. I dont even step to the plate thinking about hitting home runs. In almost seven full seasons of professional baseball, the 27-year-old Goldeyes shortstop went into Monday nights first game of the doubleheader with only 17 career round trippers. He had yet to hit a home run this season when he yanked a Kevin Fuqua fastball over the right field fence for a sixth-inning grand slam, as he and the Goldeyes put an exclamation point on the first rout of the evening. Not to be outdone, Goldeyes first baseman Casey Haerther hit a solo shot and went three-for-three with three RBI and a run scored. Starter Matt Jackson (6-2, 2.98 ERA) picked up the win for Winnipeg while Fargos ace, Jake Laber (6-2, 4.10 ERA) suffered the loss for Fargo. In Game 2, there was no doubt from the first inning onward. Winnipeg scored three runs in the first on a Mazzola solo homer and Webbs two-run blast. The Fish proceeded to put up two more in the second; four more in the third; two in the fourth on a triple by Webb and a two-run shot by Abercrombie; and four more in the fifth as Mazzola drove in four runs, Abercrombie and Brock Bond each drove in three and Kuhn and Webb each drove in a pair. Mazzola had three hits while Haerther, Webb and Abercrombie all had two-hit games. Mazzola was on base four times and scored twice while Webb got on base three times and scored all three times. Abercrombie, Bond and Ryan Pineda each scored twice. Every Goldeyes player reached base at least once. Starter Chandler Barnard (2-0, 2.92 ERA), who kind of got lost in the hitting clinic on Monday night, picked up the win for Winnipeg. Barnard allowed one run on just four hits and recorded his first complete game victory as a Goldeye. Meanwhile, Fargo starter Justin Erasmus, (2-2, 6.75 ERA) who lasted only an inning and a third, suffered the loss. Ive had a number of complete games under my belt and thats the most fun, said Barnard, who turned a visit from manager Rick Forney in the top of the second into his best start of the season. You want to go out there and finish what you start. When Rick came out he was awesome. He just told me my sinker was really sinking and I shouldnt worry about anything and just throw strikes and get outs. It was confidence-building visit to the mound and Rick was awesome. I made a couple of adjustments and things just came together. The Goldeyes will open a three-game series with the Kansas City T-Bones on Tuesday afternoon, Canada Day, at 4 p.m. at Shaw Park. Ethan Hollingsworth (1-0, 1.59 ERA) will get the start for Winnipeg, while Andy Noga (0-2, 4.08 ERA) will take to the bump for Kansas City. Tickets for all 2014 Winnipeg Goldeyes games and the 2014 American Association All-Star Game are available through Ticketmaster by clicking on Goldeyes.com, calling 1-855-GOLDEYE or visiting any Ticketmaster location, including the Shaw Park box office. Brandon McManus Jersey . The former world No. 1 Djokovic, who is the top seed here despite being ranked No. 2, snuck past 35-year-old Czech showman Radek Stepanek in four high- quality sets, 6-4, 6-3, 6-7 (5-7), 7-6 (7-5), on Centre Court. Djokovic appeared relieved when he converted on his first match point by swatting a cross-court forehand winner that just caught the line to end an affair that featured only two service breaks. John Elway Black Mens Autographed Jersey . -- An accomplished veteran in open-wheel racing, Alex Tagliani probably could find a full-time ride in the IndyCar series if he wanted it badly enough.TORONTO -- The MLS schedule is just three weeks old and already the shots are coming fast and furious. Too many on Clint Dempsey, says U.S. coach Juergen Klinsmann. But the league decided that Dempsey was the trouble-maker not the victim when it suspended the Seattle Sounders star striker two games Friday for "violent conduct" against Toronto FC defender Mark Bloom. The incident happened off the ball in the 40th minute of Torontos 2-1 win in Seattle last Saturday. Dempsey swung an arm and caught Bloom in the groin. The U.S. international was also fined an undisclosed amount. Klinsmann stepped in after the game, saying MLS has to offer key players like Dempsey more protection. "Obviously we are a little bit worried about Clint Dempsey getting fouled I dont know how many times in this game against Toronto," he said in a U.S. Soccer video. Toronto committed 25 fouls compared to 15 for Seattle. "Im hoping MLS is having an eye on that ... What I saw there on the weekend there were certain things not within the rules any more," Klinsmann added. "So I hope that our players in a certain way get a little bit of protection because they need to be healthy going into this World Cup." Seattle was also the victim of 25 fouls in its season-opening win over Sporting Kansas City. Asked about the Klinsmann comments on protecting stars, Toronto FC manager Ryan Nelsen stuck his tongue firmly in his cheek. "I 100 per cent agree with him," he said. "Jermain Defoe, Michael Bradley and Gilberto should be left alone, they shouldnt be allowed to tackle them." "I think theres a hidden agenda with Juergens comments," he added. Bradley, a veteran U.S. international whose father Bob Bradley used to coach the American national team, also downplayed the issue. "Its a physical league for sure but when youu look around the world, all the best games are physical," he said. Von Miller Jersey. "Theyre hard, Teams compete at the highest level. For us, when we look back at last weekend, we feel like we played hard, we competed hard, we left everything we had on the field but in an honest, fair way. "And so I think, after the fact, for people to look and to start to talk about a play here, a play there, lets be honest, theres little plays like this that go in every game. And still when you look back at 90 minutes, I think the way that we were able to get after Seattle and make the game hard on them and really win the physical battles was something we want to take forward into this game (Saturday against D.C, United) as well." Seattle coach Sigi Schmid didnt offer much on the suspension in an interview posted on the club website. "It is what it is so we have to deal with it," he said. Dempsey is eligible to return for an April 5 road game in Portland. The MLS disciplinary committee also suspended Chicago Fire defender Lovel Palmer for two games and fined him an undisclosed amount for violent conduct toward Portland Timbers forward Maximiliano Urruti last weekend. Both Dempsey and Palmer submitted appeals that were turned down. Montreal Impact midfielder Justin Mapp was also fined an undisclosed amount for simulation in a game against the Houston Dynamo. New York Red Bulls defender Armando was banned one game and fined an undisclosed amount for serious foul play against Colorado Rapids forward Deshorn Brown. Prior to the start of the season, the leagues board of governors approved a policy stating that any player receiving a red card for violent conduct or adjudged unanimously by the discipline committee to be an unequivocal red card for violent conduct will be automatically suspended for at least two games and be fined. cheap jerseys ' ' '

A crucial battle in the Eastern Conference playoff race is on tap Wednesday at Air Canada Centre, as the Toronto Maple Leafs host the Tampa Bay Lighting in an Atlantic Division showdown. David Bakhtiari Womens Jersey . Catch the game on TSN starting at 7pm et/4pm pt. Tampa Bay currently holds the last of the Atlantics three automatic bids to the playoffs, but the Maple Leafs are just one point behind. Toronto is also in postseason position at the moment, occupying the first of the Easts two wild card berths. JamesReimer is expected to get the call in net again for the Leafs. This is the first time the same goalie will start both games in a back-to-back for the Leafs this season. Reimer hasnt started back-to-back games since Games 6 and 7 in the playoffs last spring. Goalie JonathanBernier returned to the ice Wednesday and went through some light work for the first time since suffering a groin injury last week in Los Angeles. Toronto is 2-0 against the Lightning this season and has won three of four and seven of the past nine meetings in this series. Tampa Bay also has lost four in a row at Air Canada Centre. The Bolts dropped a 3-2 regulation decision in Toronto on Jan. 28 and were handed a 4-1 setback at home on Feb. 6. The clubs are set to meet once more in the regular season when the Leafs visit Tampa Bay Times Forum on April 8. The Lightning began their recent homestand with three straight losses before beating Florida, New Jersey and Vancouver to post a solid 3-1-2 mark during the stay in Central Florida. The brief surge has seen Tampa Bay log at least a point in five straight games and the Bolts would like to make it six-game point streak with another win on Wednesday. "Weve got points in five straight games at a time when we really need them," Tampa Bay head coach Jon Cooper remarked. "Hopefully this is good momentum for us going on the road." Tampa Bay is kicking off a three-game road trip on Wednesday and also will visit Ottawa and Pittsburgh during the swing. The Lighting are 17-16-2 as the visiting team this season. The Lightning were last in action on Monday when they notched a 4-3 regulation win over the Canucks. OndrejPalat continued his five-game point streak with a goal and an assist to help Tampa down Vancouver. Palat, a 22-year-old Czech winger, has four goals and five assists during the run and has been a pleasant surprise for the Bolts this season, posting 18 goals and 46 points through 68 games. StevenStamkos also registered a goal and an assist in the Lightnings third straight victory. ValtteriFilppula and TomPyatt also scored while goaltender BenBishop made 25 stops in the win. Bishop expects to start tonight for Tampa, but the former Ottawa Senator is just 2-4-0 with a 3.05 goals against average and .884 save percentage in seven career games against Toronto. Toronto has struggled of late, losing two straight and three of its last four games. The Leafs hope to get back on track Wednesday when they play the first test of a two-game homestand. The residency also includes Saturdays important divisional tilt against the rival Canadiens. The Maple Leafs are 22-11-1 as the home team this season compared to a 14-15-7 mark on the road. Toronto wrapped a five-game road trip on Tuesday with a 3-2 regulation loss in Detroit. GustavNyquist scored a pair of goals to lead the Red Wings to the close victory at Joe Louis Arena. JakeGardiner and JamesvanRiemsdyk had one goal apiece for the Maple Leafs, while JamesReimer allowed all three goals on 31 shots. "It was average. There was some good and bad throughout the five games," Maple Leafs forward NazemKadri said of the teams five-game road trip. JonathanBernier sat out his second straight game with a strained groin and the clubs No. 1 goaltender is considered day-to-day. Reimer could get the start on back-to-back nights and is 2-3-0 with a 2.94 GAA in five career games against Tampa Bay. DrewMacIntyre, who has been serving as the backup with Bernier sidelined, has not seen action in an NHL game since making two appearances with Buffalo during the 2011-12 season. After winning the final three tests of a six-game homestand, the Lightning hope to carry some momentum on the road for tonights important clash. So far in 2013-14, however, Tampa Bay has come up empty against the Maple Leafs. Richard Rodgers Jersey . Louis Blues remain at the top spot of the TSN. Bryan Bulaga Womens Jersey . - Former NFL safety DarrenSharper pleaded not guilty Thursday to charges that he drugged and raped two women he met at a West Hollywood night club, while the emergence of a new accuser in Florida left him under investigation in five states.LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Aaron Harrison scored 19 of his 28 points in the first half and No. 1 Kentucky started all freshmen for the first time in rolling to an 87-49 victory over Robert Morris on Sunday night. After three games of starting four freshmen around sophomore 7-footer Willie Cauley-Stein, coach John Calipari rolled out a rookie lineup of Harrison and twin brother Andrew, James Young, Marcus Lee and Julius Randle. That look lasted just 51 seconds as Cauley-Stein replaced Lee, but the Wildcats (3-1) used other combinations of highly touted recruits. Harrison ended up grabbing the spotlight instead of leading scorer Randle, shooting 7 of 12 from the field and making all 10 free throws. He also had four rebounds and three assists. Randle added 10 points and 15 rebounds and Young had 10 points in the rematch of last springs NIT game won by Robert Morris. The game quickly turned into a mismatch as the bigger, faster, Wildcats jumped out to a 17-2 lead and led by as 40 points. Kentucky shot 28 of 57 from the field (49 per cent), outrebounded the Colonials 56-33 and dominated the inside 36-16. Cauley-Stein finished with a career-high 13 rebounds, and Andrew Harrison had eight points. Karvel Andersons 16 points led Robert Morris (2-2), which shot just 16 of 69 (23 per cent). The game itself was intriguing with the Wildcats facing the team that ousted them from the NIT with a 59-57 NIT loss outside Pittsburgh in March, sparking Colonials fans to storm the small home court in celebration. In many ways that contest typified Kentuckys disappointing and inconsistent season witth a four-man group including big man Nerlens Noel -- whose season-ending knee injury hastened the downfall -- and guard Archie Noel. Morgan Burnett Womens Jersey. Both are now gone to the NBA. Calipari hasnt watched the tape of that game, but the lingering memory of the loss stayed with veterans such as Jon Hood up until practice. As for this years eight-man crop of talented newcomers, they were trying to get over Tuesdays 78-74 loss to No. 2 Michigan State in Chicago. On both counts, the Wildcats succeeded quite easily. Kentucky faced a Robert Morris lineup featuring three returning starters from that game plus leading scorer Karvel Anderson, but the Colonials played nothing like last springs upset-minded squad. They started 1 of 10 from the field, and that first basket came on Aaron Tates jumper at the 11:36 mark. By then the Wildcats were up 17-4 and rolling toward a 44-20 halftime lead built on Aaron Harrisons hot start including 4-of-8 shooting and eight free throws. Everybody else was 9 of 22 as Kentucky shot just 43 per cent and committed 10 turnovers, none of which mattered because the Colonials were just 6 of 30 (20 per cent). What pleased Calipari was his teams 29-14 rebounding advantage including a 12-8 edge offensively. Cauley-Stein had 10 and Randle eight, just what the coach wanted to see. Then again, Kentucky had something to prove, none of which involved getting revenge against Robert Morris. Though the sting of Tuesdays loss subsided, the disappointment was something the Wildcats didnt want to feel again and thoroughly proved that against Robert Morris. cheap jerseys ' ' '

To earn one of the final four places in Euro 2012, Portugal will face Bosnia and Herzegovina in a double leg elimination match. Tyronne Green Jersey . The action begins on Friday in Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina and concludes Tuesday in Lisbon, Portugals capital. Catchthe first legof action from Bosnia andHerzegovinalive, Friday at 2pm et/11am pt on TSN2 and TSN Mobile TV. Coming into qualification, Portugal was considered one of the early favourites to not only advance straight into the tournament but be one of the top teams when everything was said and done. Their campaign got off to a rocky start in Group H when they welcomed Cyprus to Guimaraes. The visitors struck just three minutes into the game to put Portugal on the back foot and even after scoring the tying goal five minutes later, the home side was down once again after giving up a second at the 11 minute mark. When Manuel Fernandes put Portugal ahead 4-3 at the hour mark of the game they had appeared to survive their opener with maximum points but Andreas Avraams header in the 89th minute sent both teams home with a single point. The campaign did not improve for Portugal when they traveled to Norway for their second group contest. Despite a strong offensive push, especially in the second half of the match, they were unable to equalize after Erik Huseklepp put Norway ahead in the 21st minute and fell to a 1-0 defeat, earning just one point in their first two games. A start so poor in fact that prior to resuming international play, Portugal fired manager Carlos Queiroz and replaced him with former Sporting Lisbon coach Paulo Bento. Bento and his new squad hosted Denmark in his first game and just two minutes apart in the opening half, Manchester United midfielder Nani found the net. His two goals scored in the 29th and 31st minutes; coupled with an 89th minute marker from Cristiano Ronaldo gave Bento and Portugal a 3-1 victory, their first win in the competition. With the momentum gained from the coaching change and victory, Portugal dispatched Iceland 3-1 in a game that saw Ronaldo score from a free kick after three minutes played and was not really away till substitute Helder Postiga scored in the 72nd minute. Heading into their second game with Norway, Portugal trailed both them and Denmark by three points and needed a win in order to stay in the thick of Group H competition. Postiga, who scored the goal that sealed the previous victory, scored the only goal at home against Norway to create the three way tie and allow Portugal to control their own destiny in the group they were picked to win when the competition began. Perhaps one of the most important games in their progress was the 4-0 victory they earned in Cyprus. After scoring in the first half, Ronaldos late penalty goal sparked a three marker finish that helped increase Portugals goal differential. After knocking off Iceland in a wild 5-3 game, they needed only a draw in the final match with Denmark in order to book themselves a place into the main draw of Euro 2012. The game, played at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen exposed the same defensive deficiencies that popped up for Portugal throughout the qualifying tournament. They found themselves down two goals just after the hour mark of the contest when Arsenals Nicklas Bendtner headed home to double the Denmark lead. Two minutes into extra time Ronaldo broke the shutout but it was too little too late as the Danes held on to capture the group with a 2-1 victory. Portugal finished in a second place tie with Norway who they split their contests with but due to a superior goal differential were able to advance to the knockout phase for a second chance at qualification. To make good on that second chance and play in the main draw at Euro 2012 they will have to defeat Bosnia and Herzegovina who were the runner ups in Group D. While Portugal would be slightly disappointed to have to qualify for the tournament through the knockout phase, Bosnia and Herzegovina came within half an hour of shocking a former world champion and outright winning their group. For the Bosnians qualification began with a bang in September of last year. They defeated Luxembourg on the road 3-0, scoring all three goals in the first 16 minutes of the game, to open their campaign while watching the groups favoured team France fall in their opener. The good feelings however would not last as they were blanked at home in their next match by France who got goals from Karim Benzema and Chelseas Florent Malouda. In their next game, they traded first half goals with Albania, scoring first and then giving up the equalizer to pick up a point on the road. When qualification resumed in March of this year, Bosnia and Herzegovina was right in the thick of the Group D process. Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko scored in the 83rd minute for a 2-1 Bosnian victory at home against Romania. Their next game was in Romania and the home side came out in an attacking posture and overwhelmed Bosnia and Herzegovina with a 3-0 victory that dropped the visitors down to third place. The group turned for Bosnia and Herzegovina when they welcomed Albania to Zenica. Haris Medunjanin opened the scoring in that contest and after Albania had been reduced to 10-men, Darko Maletic doubled the lead and captured all three points for the home side. They carried that form into a two game sweep of Belarus including a 1-0 victory on the road that featured a Zvjezdan Misimovic goal and two red cards that reduced the Belarusian side to nine men making their comeback almost impossible. Bosnia and Herzegovina clinched their place in the knockout stage with a 5-0 defeat over Luxembourg with familiar faces such as Misimovic and Dzeko finding the score sheet. The victory sent them into a final day showdown with France, needing an upset victory to claim their spot in the main tournament draw. The match, which was played at the Stade de France in Saint Denis could have seen Bosnias first ever qualification into a major soccer tournament if they were able to overcome the French side. Dzeko, who would be their leading scorer throughout the qualification process, shocked the stadium when he put the visitors ahead in the 40th minute sending them into half with a chance to defend for the win. However it wasnt to be as Emir Spahic fouled Dzekos Manchester City teammate Samir Nasri in the area and he converted the penalty to earn the draw and send France directly into Euro 2012. Bosnia and Herzegovina have a history in playoffs against Portugal as the two teams met in the final knockout stage qualifier for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Portugal advanced into the tournament with a 2-0 aggregate victory scoring both home and away 1-0 wins to eliminate the Bosnians. Bryan Stork Official . But after playing in England for more than a decade, Reo-Coker already recognized a key issue. He faces an adjustment as he prepares for his first Major League Soccer season. Brandon Browner Jersey . Barcelona says Pique tore a muscle in his right leg. The Spain international will miss Spanish league games against Almeria and Valladolid, but should be back for the Champions league match against Manchester City on March 12.The NHL has not decided whether to let its players participate in the Olympics beyond this year, casting doubt on who will be competing for hockey gold in four years. With the league set to push pause on its season for next months Sochi Olympics, Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly also is allowing for the possibility of a security issue that could keep the players from travelling to Russia at all. "As of now, we do not doubt that all necessary steps are being taken by the Sochi Organizing Committee, the Russian government and the IOC to ensure the safety of the athletes and guests in Sochi," Daly wrote Monday in an email to The Associated Press. "Obviously, if something significant were to transpire between now and February 9 that causes us to question that conclusion, we will re-evaluate. I dont expect that that will become necessary." Russian security has been looking for three potential female suicide bombers, one of whom is believed to be in Sochi. The country has assembled what is believed to be the biggest security operation ever for an Olympics with more than 50,000 police and soldiers. "The NHLPA continues to be in contact with Olympic and security officials regarding plans for the Olympic Games in Sochi, and will work closely with all concerned to monitor matters in advance of and during the Games," NHL Players Association spokesman Jonathan Weatherdon wrote in an email. Swedens DanielAlfredsson has competed in each of the last four Olympics with players from the league and is looking forward to a fifth and probably final time next month. The 41-year-old Detroit Red Wings forward said it would be "bad" for the NHL to take the unique experience away from its players in the future. "Its an unbelievable experience," Alfredsson said. The NHL and the players association will decide on future Olympic participation after Sochi, just as they have done since the top players started participating in the games in 1998. League officials just arent sure freezing their league for two-plus weeks in the middle of the season is good for business -- especially when the Olympics are not in the U.S. or Canada. "The North American experiences have been better than far-away Olympics for a host reasons, including exposure," Daly said in a recent interview with the AP. "When you have a North American-based Olympics, you can have a shorter period without NHL games. Were going to have the longest break weve ever had, and that could interruppt momentum for teams and have an effect on their competitiveness based on how many players they have playing, and how many injuries they have in Sochi. Andre Tippett Jersey. " The NHL had 150 of its players -- at least one for each of the 12 countries in the tournament -- picked to play. The league will not have any games from Feb. 9 through Feb. 24, a 16-day window that is between major American sporting events: the Super Bowl and the NCAA mens college basketball tournament. Instead of directly benefiting from the decreased competition for time and money from casual fans, the league can only hope that allowing its players to be in the Olympics draws more people to the game. "There are potential negative impacts with participating midseason in the Olympics and that factors into the overall analysis of whether its a good idea for us to go or not," Daly said. When the SidneyCrosby-led Canadians beat the Americans for gold four years ago in Vancouver, nearly 35 million people watched on TV. "Its pretty obvious to say its good for the game," Chicago Blackhawks and U.S. forward PatrickKane said. But even if theres a rematch in the gold-medal game on Feb. 23, the audience likely will be much smaller because the puck is scheduled to drop at 4 p.m. in Sochi and at 7 a.m. or earlier in North America. Would the NHL let its players compete in the Winter Olympics only when theyre held in North America? "I dont think thats where we would go, but I wouldnt rule it out," Daly said. Players, seemingly universally, want to play in the Winter Olympics for the sixth straight time in 2018 in South Korea -- and beyond. The NHL and NHL Players Association have been in talks about bringing back the World Cup of Hockey that wouldnt conflict with the leagues regular season. Daly said the NHL and NHLPA are both in favour of creating a uniform international calendar. "A World Cup should clearly play a part in that," Daly said. NHL players, meanwhile, dont want a World Cup of Hockey -- perhaps every two years -- to replace an opportunity to play in the Olympics. "The World Cup would be cool, but the Olympics are something else," said Swedish and Detroit Red Wings goaltender JonasGustavsson, who was picked to play for his country in a second straight Olympics. "Its all the best athletes in all the sports in one place, trying to get gold. To take the best hockey players out of the Olympics would be wrong and would be a shame." cheap jerseys ' ' '

WASHINGTON -- An already rough-and-tumble playoff series between the Washington Wizards and Chicago Bulls now has a full-blown fracas, an ejection and a Game 4 suspension for Nene. Sheldon Richardson Elite Jersey . What everyone will be watching when these clubs meet Sunday, with Washington leading the Eastern Conference series 2-1, is just how physical the play will get -- and whether things will escalate again. "Weve had scuffles all three games, basically. Youve got to make sure we dont lose our composure, where we get thrown out of the game like that. It doesnt matter who it is, we cant afford that," Washington coach Randy Wittman said after the Wizards loss Friday night. "So weve just got to do a better job. Hey, its very emotional. Emotional game, tough game." Nene was tossed with about 8 1/2 minutes left in the fourth quarter after wrapping both hands around the back of JimmyButlers head and neck as they stood so close their foreheads touched. Rod Thorn, the NBAs president of basketball operations, announced Saturday that Nene had been suspended one game without pay for head-butting and grabbing Butler "around the neck with both hands and attempting to throw him down." Butler made two key 3-pointers from there, helping the fourth-seeded Bulls win 100-97. "When you play physical ... things get hot," Nene said with a smile and a shrug Friday. During Washingtons victory at Chicago in Game 2, some lesser contretemps led to a total of four players getting called for technical fouls: Washingtons BradleyBeal and TrevorAriza, and Chicagos KirkHinrich and JoakimNoah. So neither club seemed all that surprised at the rising temperature in Game 3. "Hes a guy, just like each one of us, hes a guy with a big ego," Wizards centre MarcinGortat said about Nene. "Theres nobody in this locker room whos going to be pushed around like that. And thats just how he reacted. Does he deserve two technical fouls? I dont know. But at the end of the day, he got kicked out and we had to play without him." Added Beal: "It gets to the point where you just get pushed to the limit way too much, and I think Nene got pushed to the limit. Do we agree with what he did? Not necessarily, but he did it and we cant take it back." Noah, who has spent plenty of time jostling with Nene in the low block, called the ejection a "turning point" of Fridays game. Indeed, not only did Nene average a team-high 20.5 points and 7.5 rebounds in Washingtons wins in Games 1 and 2, but the teams entire approach changes when the 6-foot-11 Brazilian is on the floor. He provides big-body defence and soft-hands passing. He can score and rebound. Hes so influential that JohnWall, Washingtons All-Star point guard, has called him the "X-factor." During the regular season, Washington won two of three games from Chicago, but lost at home 96-78 on April 5 without an injured Nene. The Wizards scored 26 points in the first half. As for what Game 4 would mean without Nene, Noah said Saturday before the official announcement, "Im not sure. I dont think it changes our mindset, though. Its a crucial game for us. All three games really came down to the end. Attention to detail is huge. The game in these situations is so mental. For us, its just about staying focused on the things that we can control." Asked whether he thought Nenes actions warranted a suspension, Noah said, "As a player, those arent things I can control. The only thing I can control right now is eating lunch and ice baths and sleeping and shooting free throws and things like that." All three games so far have been won by the visiting team, a pattern the Bulls would love to see continue Sunday, of course. "I cant tell you why thats happened," Wizards forward TrevorAriza said. While Washingtons offence is particularly dependent on young guards Wall and Beal, the Bulls found some new sources of much-needed offence in Game 3: MikeDunleavy scored 35 points, one shy of his NBA high, and Butler finished with 15, including a tiebreaking 3-pointer with 24 seconds to go. Wittman will want to come up with a way to change that Sunday, of course. What is not likely to change is the testy nature of this matchup. "It gets chippy," Bulls forward TajGibson said. "But youve got to be smart. Its playoff basketball. You can get ejected; you can get suspended. Youve got to keep your hands to yourself." Joe Namath Jersey For Sale .
